Group of Women on Inflatable Rainbow Unicorn Rescued From Minnesota Lake

A group of women floating along on a Minnesota lake on an inflatable rainbow unicorn thought they would be in for a nice lazy afternoon at the lake. What they didn't anticipate was getting stranded in some of the lake's thick weeds.

Thankfully, two Chisago County sheriff's deputies happened to be driving along Fish Lake, near Stark, Minnesota when they spotted the women on the large unicorn.

The two officers say they initially only wanted to take a photo with the majestic inflatable beast, but when the deputies found the women needed their services, they sprang into action according to Fox 9.

The Chisago County Sheriff's Office tweeted video of the officers rescuing the women who found themselves tangled up in the weeds.

One officer can be seen tossing the stranded women a rope to haul them in while the other deputy films the rescue.

"With a handful of laughs and some mad rescue roping skills they were pulled back to the dock!" the sheriff's office posted.

In a subsequent post, the sheriff's office said they were happy to help out with the rescue of the unicorn proving that the department was an "equal opportunity help provider."
