Twitter CEO Criticized For Recommending Travel To Myanmar

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is taking some heat for pushing Myanmar as a tourist destination amid accusations of genocide there.  Dorsey tweeted over the weekend that he had traveled to Myanmar for a meditation retreat.  He wrote that the people are full of joy and the food is amazing, along with a recommendation that people visit if they can.  The twitterverse was quick to pile condemnation on Dorsey, calling his tweets tone-deaf as thousands of members of the country's Rohingya minority have reportedly been subjected to mass killings and rapes.  More than 700,000 fled after the government launched a crackdown on the group, following Rohingya attacks on police posts.  The UN has called the crackdown a textbook case of ethnic cleansing.
